Dr Kamal Kapur Gets Standing Ovation at Annual Congress of ESCRS

Founder Director Sharp Sight (Group of Eye Hospitals) Dr Kamal B Kapur delivers a keynote speech during the 36th Annual Congress of the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (ESCRS) held at Vienna, Austria. While many renowned speakers from across the country including Italy, Japan, Czech Republic, etc., spoke on their experiences with Presbyopic IPCL and Innovative Solutions for Presbyopia and Refractive Errors, Dr Kapur’s keynote speech on “IPCL Innovated in India for Complete Refractive Solutions” was not only appreciated by the industry stalwarts but he also got a standing ovation. Not once, but twice! “It's my privilege and honour to be part of Europe’s leading congress for cataract and refractive surgeons - ESCRS Lunch Symposium which was a spellbinding event with such amazing speakers and audiences alike. And, I personally feel such symposia with global speakers and attendees are encouraging and the best way to share and impart new technological advancements taking place in the field of ophthalmology,” said Dr Kamal B Kapur.

He further added, “The annual meet of ESCRS truly is the biggest Ophthalmic extravaganza. It’s an innovative academic feast for all the Ophthalmologists across the globe as it brings us all together, under one roof, to discuss various advancements in technology and share our experiences.”

Later, the ESCRS also conducted a survey of attendees where each speaker was rated on various aspects using a digital voting pad and independent survey agents. The meet with attendees over 9,000 from all across the world was co-hosted by Care Group.
